The Firearm/Tool Mark Section of the Crime Laboratory consists of three Forensic Scientists who are responsible for the following forensic examinations:

• Range Estimation (Gunshot residue analysis and shotgun pattern testing)

  • Knife (or cutting tool) comparisons to cut marks
• Footwear to Impression Analysis
