Fingerprinting
As a public service, each of the Troop Area Headquarters of the Nebraska State Patrol provide fingerprint collection for the general public via electronic capture (known as “LiveScan”). The collection of fingerprints is done for a fee. If those fingerprints are to be submitted to the FBI for a nationwide criminal record search, those background checks are only available if it is required by state or federal law.
