From Safety Patrol to State Patrol
Founded in 1937 as the Nebraska Safety Patrol, NSP has grown to be Nebraska's only statewide, full-service law enforcement agency.

Our officers strive to earn and maintain trust, respect, and confidence by exemplifying the belief that the freedoms, rights, and dignity of all citizens must be protected and preserved.
NSP Special Operations
NSP has several Special Operations Teams. These teams, including SWAT, Mobile Field Force, Aviation Support, and Police Service Dogs are made up of troopers stationed all across Nebraska.
Troopers Honored by MADD
These Troopers were honored by Mother's Against Drunk Driving for their work to take drunk and drugged drivers off the road.
