The Human Resources Division promotes a diverse, skilled, and productive work force while providing support to the agency under the direction of the Colonel.

The focus of support is to serve as a consultant and processor, allowing the other agency divisions to perform their jobs rather than completing administrative human resource related activities.

The Division is responsible for labor relations and contract administration; policy and SOP; sworn officer promotional and selection processes; sworn and civilian recruitment; job classifications; temporary employees and internships; and performance management. The Human Resource Division serves as a liaison with the Department of Administrative Services, State Personnel Division and Employee Relations Division.
