NSP Seeks Feedback as Part of CALEA Accreditation

CALEA Accreditation certificate
Lincoln, NE

The Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) welcomes feedback from the public as part of its ongoing commitment to public safety for the state of Nebraska.

NSP is accredited by CALEA (Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies), an internationally recognized organization to develop and maintain standards for law enforcement agencies. NSP is currently conducting its annual review as part of the four-year CALEA accreditation process.

As part of NSP’s commitment to maintaining CALEA standards, NSP seeks the feedback of the public regarding the agency’s quality of service to the state. Feedback can be provided at the NSP website or directly to CALEA.

Fewer than ten percent of law enforcement agencies across the United States have received CALEA accreditation. NSP first received CALEA accreditation in 1980.
