Child Enticement Investigation Leads to Arrest in North Platte

Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol have concluded a months-long child enticement investigation that led to the arrest of a North Platte man. 

In August, a subject identified as Robert Daley, 24, of North Platte, was arrested after having sexual conversations with what he believed was a 15-year-old girl. In reality, Daley was conversing with an undercover investigator. Daley arranged to meet the girl at a park in North Platte. When he arrived at the park, NSP investigators took him into custody. 

Daley was arrested for sexual assault by use of electronic communication device and enticement by electronic communication device. He was lodged in Lincoln County Jail.

Further investigation revealed several images of child sexual abuse material on an electronic device owned by Daley. Daley has additionally been cited for possession of child sexual abuse material. The investigation is complete and has been turned over to the Lincoln County Attorney. Daley remains in Lincoln County Jail.
