Alcohol Inspections Held in Keith County

May 25, 2018
(North Platte, NE)

During the evening hours of Thursday, May 24, investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) conducted alcohol inspections in Keith County.

This project was supported in whole or part by grant # 93.959 under the SAMHSA Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, Region II Human Services, and the Nebraska DHHS Division of Behavioral Health.

In total, 14 businesses were inspected, with one selling alcohol to a minor for a non-compliance rate of 7%. The businesses included convenience stores, restaurants, golf courses, and bars.

The business which failed the inspection was:

Kahoots – Ogallala (sold to minor, did not check ID)

Businesses which fail the alcohol inspections are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to a minor are cited for procuring alcohol to a minor.
