NSP Congratulates Command School Graduate

(Lincoln, Neb.)- The Nebraska State Patrol is proud to announce the recent graduation of Sergeant Robert Rose from the 387th Class of the Northwestern University’s Center for Public Safety, School for Police Staff and Command (SPSC).

A nearly 28-year veteran of the agency, Sgt. Rose #374, is currently assigned to Troop D-North Platte serving the Broken Bow area.  He attended the SPSC in Evanston, Ill., and was among 26 students from different states participating in the 10- week program.

The SPSC is an intensive program that provides upper-level college instruction in a total of 27 core or mandatory blocks of instruction as well as additional optional courses. SPSC prepares law enforcement managers for senior positions by uniquely combing academic principle with practical applications.

The Center for Public Safety was established at Northwestern University in 1936 to expand university-based education and training for the law enforcement community and has graduated more than 16,000 students both nationally and internationally. ###
