Alcohol Inspections

During the afternoon and evening hours of Friday, March 6, Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol conducted alcohol inspections in Brown, Rock, and Keya Paha Counties.

In total, ten businesses were inspected. One business sold alcohol to a minor for a non-compliance rate of ten percent. All of the businesses checked the minor’s identification.

The business which failed the inspection was:

Cattleman’s Lounge – Springview (Checked ID, Sold to minor)

The businesses included liquor stores, convenience stores, restaurants, and bars. Businesses that sell alcohol to a minor are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to a minor are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor.

These inspections were funded by the Areas Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition under grant #1H79SP020880-05 from the Office of National Drug Control Policy, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration, and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
