Alcohol Inspections Conducted in Red Willow, Hayes Counties

December 13, 2017 (North Platte, Neb.)  — During the evening hours of Friday, December
8, Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol conducted alcohol inspections in Red Willow and
Hayes Counties.


This project was supported in whole or part by Grant # 93.959 under the SAMHSA Center for
Substance Abuse Prevention, Region II Human Services, and the Nebraska DHHS Division of
Behavioral Health.


A total of 13 businesses were inspected, with one selling alcohol to a minor for a compliance rate of
92%. All of the businesses checked the minor’s ID. The businesses included convenience
restaurants, liquor stores, and bars.


The business which failed the inspection is:


Casey’s General Store #2291 – McCook


Businesses that fail the inspections are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission and the
clerks are cited for Procuring Alcohol for a Minor.


This operation was conducted in conjunction with a special traffic enforcement by NSP Troopers in
Red Willow County. That enforcement resulted in citations, violations, or warnings for: No Valid
Registration (1), Fictitious Plates (1), Improper Light (2), Improper Turn (5), Failure to Signal (6),
and Failure to Maintain Lane (1).
