 April 27, 2017 (Lincoln, Neb.)  —

Nebraska residents can expect a mixed bag of precipitation beginning tonight and through the upcoming weekend.  In northwest Nebraska, winter storm warnings are already posted.

Travelers need to be vigilant as weather conditions and temperatures can and will change quickly.  All Nebraskans need to keep up to date with the forecast and remain prepared as the storm system pushes out of the Rockies.  Colonel Brad Rice noted that, “Spring is here on the calendar, however, remain vigilant while travelling as weather conditions can change quickly.”  Always wear your seatbelts, watch your speed, and never drive distracted or impaired.
