St. Patrick's Day Enforcement Stats Released

March 20, 2017 (Lincoln, Neb.)  — Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol took fifteen impaired drivers off the road during special enforcement efforts conducted in conjunction with the St. Patrick’s Day holiday.

The special enforcements, which included high visibility patrols and DUI selectives on St. Patrick’s Day, Friday March 17, were conducted thanks in part to overtime funding provided by a $9,325 grant from the Nebraska Department of Roads - Highway Safety Office (NDOR-HSO).

The following statistics are a reflection of statewide activity by the Nebraska State Patrol during St. Patrick’s Day special enforcement efforts.

        3 - Minor in Possession of Alcohol

77-Speeding citations & warnings

       1- Misdemeanor Drug citation

 

    6-Driving Under Suspension

    2- No Proof of Insurance

 25 - No Seat Belt citations & warnings
