February 17, 2017 (Aurora, Neb.)  — Law Enforcement officials are looking for two Minnesota men who took off on foot during a traffic stop around 3 p.m. today (2-17-17) near Aurora. The men, identified as Jeremy David Bromley (DOB 11-6-90) and Drake Eli Ross (DOB 12-10-94).

Bromley is a white male with red hair and a heavy build. He was last seen wearing sunglasses and no shirt. Ross is described as a white male with short brown hair, and may have a tattoo of lips on his neck.

They were initially stopped by a Nebraska State Patrol Trooper for speeding near the Aurora exit on I-80, but took off and ended up in a cornfield west of Aurora, where they left their Minnesota-plated pickup and ran off on foot.

A perimeter was set up and a K-9 unit and NSP helicopter were called to assist, but neither suspect was located. As a precaution, Aurora schools and the hospital initiated a lockdown, which has been discontinued.

Authorities do not believe the men are a danger to the public, and ask that anyone who sees anything or anyone suspicious to call 911or contact the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, Aurora Police Department, or the Nebraska State Patrol Grand Island office at 308-385-6000. ###
