In-Service Training is conducted annually for all sworn officers in the Nebraska State Patrol.  In a typical year, the Training Academy will provide between 350 - 400 hours of In-Service training.  In-Service training is a combination of classroom updates as well as skill, or scenario, based techniques.  Instruction includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

• Firearms Training
• Defensive Tactics
• Emergency Vehicle Operations
• RADAR/VASCAR
• CPR
• Legislative Updates
