The Office of the Superintendent oversees the Agency’s goals and objectives, policies and procedures and organizational structure and is under the supervision of Colonel David Sankey, Superintendent of Law Enforcement and Public Safety.

Second in command to the Colonel is Assistant Superintendent Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Schwarten.  Lt. Colonel Schwarten directly oversees the Major Divisions of Field, Investigative and Administrative Services.

In addition, Lt. Colonel Schwarten oversees the Divisions of Executive Protection, Professional Standards and Public Information.
