"State dollars put NSP officers on the road;
the Foundation takes them the extra mile."
The Nebraska State Patrol Foundation was founded by a group of citizens in 1986. These founders recognized the ever increasing cost of equipping a law enforcement agency tends to far exceed the tax dollars available to address the likewise increasing need for law enforcement in Nebraska. The Foundation is a tax exempt, charitable organization with a 501(c) 3 tax status. It asks for and accepts unsolicited donations, equipment or services to benefit the Nebraska State Patrol. Your contributions assist the State Patrol in the purchase of:
- Police Service Dogs (PSD) and Patrol units
- Heat sensors, monitors and “bail-out” devices that allow the handler to remotely release the canine from the PSD units
- In-car video camera equipment
- Night vision equipment
- Infrared camcorders and many other items of equipment
- Items at the discretion of the donor
Please contact the Nebraska State Patrol Foundation, at the address below if you have any questions or to make a tax deductible donation.
